A Pedal Collector's Dream
A few museum quality pieces, oddities, and tour ready pedals from my personal collection!
Hey, so life is changing fast over here. I think I’ve come to a point where I’d rather leave some of the museum curating to others (Josh, mainly). And I’m also a firm believer that gear should get used / played often. I’m offering a decent chunk of my personal collection here. Some of these are IMPOSSIBLE to find, especially in this condition. Some are rare and oddball, while some are just ready to go on the road.
I tried to divide this into two sections, the first is the higher end / GLASS CASE / MUSEUM QUALITY / COLLECTOR’S ITEMS. This has a lot of incredible pieces, vintage items, rare and high-end boutique options.
The second is more TOUR READY / STANDARD SERIES / VINTAGE ODDBALL. Honestly some of the best pedals are in this section. I wanted to be able to show the pedals in a way that was a little easier to digest, and to search for the one that is right for you! Actually a couple of finer pedals slipped in here.
I always say that gear isn’t sentimental to me, but honestly there are a few pieces in here that have a lot of personal historical value. I’m so glad and honored to have these go to good homes where they will be cared for and protected, and also played hopefully!
In other news, we just signed a lease on a new space in Nashville! We will share more soon, but selling these pedals will help us get set up for you to come and see us in person soon and shop more than just pedals!
Oh, and I have two incredible guitars up for grabs. One is a 1981 Gibson Sonex Les Paul. I will tell you that this is an incredible special guitar. It’s perfectly set up and sounds amazing. The stock humbuckers have a really nice top end and a lot of clarity. Don’t let the bolt-on neck throw you off, it is an incredible piece and sounds awesome. I used this guitar on a recording for our band earlier this year and it really performed incredibly! The other is a vintage 1964 Gibson F-25 Folk Singer acoustic. This is also a perfect example of an instrument, and is one that I love so much. It’s amazingly balanced in its tone profile, perfectly set up with med/low action, and I love that it just causes you to approach guitar in a slightly different way. The main thing that separated this guitar is the string spacing on the neck - it’s set up more like a classical guitar, which lends to finger picking, but is also serves well strumming with a pick, and has a ton of projection.
